Step into our shoes, Chidu: Naveen Patnaik Orissa Chief Minister Navin Patnaik in a lighter vein stated that Union Home Minister P Chidambaram wants to eat away the powers of the state and Chief Ministers. So far, his initiatives as former Finance Minister and Home Minister have failed to take off. Be it Direct Tax Code, Fringe benefit taxes, and the more recent National Counter Terrorism Centre concept.
